This place was way up in the hills (Calz del Tecnológico, +52-664-607-1313), but it looked pretty good when I saw it on a
Rick Bayless episode. They specialized in these shrimp tacos, Sinaloan-style. The tortilla was slightly crispy on the outside yet the cheese inside made it soft and gooey. The shrimp were firm and spicy, and you could garnish it with a million things like Mexican cream,
salsa verde,
pico de gallo, shredded cabbage, and lime juice. I gobbled this thing up with ease, especially when washed down with a free cup of that prawn shell broth. Best of all, this place has a fun, rowdy atmosphere, complete with singing musicians. I'd happily come back here.
