I've wanted to stop by the Las Ahumaderas row of taco stands on my last two
trips to Tijuana, but never had the time to go. Today, it was on my way back to the hotel, and what better than to grab a quick bite here to keep me going until dinner? I somehow ended up with the shop at the end (Av Guillermo Prieto 2650, +52-664-194-3906), grabbing one
asada taco and one
tripas taco, both of which came out fast and hot. They really chopped their meats up finely here, all while grilling them to the point where they were crunchy. Next time I should try some
suadero tacos; it looks like Rick Bayless also did a segment here where he got some
vampiros.
